The first CO.STARTERS session begins Tuesday, October 13, 2015, from 5:30 pm – 7:30 pm at the Center Point Business Solutions office located at 1413 South Home Street, Union City, TN.

The program is designed to assist both aspiring entrepreneurs and seasoned entrepreneurs looking to launch a new product or service. Regardless of what stage an individual is at in launching a business, CO.STARTERS will help entrepreneurs develop and fine-tune ideas and plan for the future.

With the help of a program facilitator and local supportive entrepreneurs, CO.STARTERS will walk participants through the basic and necessary aspects of business needed to turn ideas into action.

This year Sacchi Doss of Union City, TN, will be facilitating the CO.STARTERS program.

“Sacchi has served as the perfect role model for professional women juggling careers and family,” said Judy Barker, a member of the NTEC Board of Directors. “She exemplifies all the qualities of a successful business woman. Over the years she has shared her experience by mentoring over 20 small business owners.”

Carol Reed, NTEC Executive Director, is excited to have Doss on board with CO.STARTERS this fall as well.

“Those who attend the program get to experience first-hand her abundant passion for helping business owners to build sustainable businesses in the community,” said Reed.

In addition, guest speakers will visit each week to share the challenges they faced while starting and growing their own businesses, and business professionals from leading accounting and law firms will offer their support to program participants.

CO.STARTERS will conclude on Tuesday, November 17 with an informal “Pitch Night,” giving course members a real opportunity to present the business ideas they explored during the program.

A one-time fee of $50 for accepted applicants will cover light meals and materials for all sessions. For more information and to get registered online for CO.STARTERS, please visit www.ntecconnect.com/get-started.
