Who We Are
The Northwest Tennessee Local Food Network (#NWTNLFN) is composed of private citizens, agricultural producers, representatives from area Farmers Markets, the Health Department, UT Extension, area schools, UTM, local businesses, governmental and non-governmental organizations, and anybody who feels the need to make locally grown food a priority for our region.
The NWTN Local Food Network is working towards building an equitable and sustainable food system, one that is improving access to locally grown, fresh, healthy food, AND promoting increased usage of local places for the health and economic welfare of our communities in Northwest Tennessee. It’s a pretty audacious goal and it’s going to take everybody to make it work – we’re trying to do a huge thing.
The Weakley County Women's Entrepreneur Group is an avenue to network, share ideas, and learn from other women entrepreneurs. We meet every third Thursday of each month at 8:00 am at The Looking Glass Coffee and Curiosities (215 S. Lindell Street, Martin). Please join us for coffee and conversation. Coffee is on us!
NTEC is currently planning activities for the 2017 year. Please take a moment to fill out our survey for your input on how you would like to participate in the Women's Entrepreneur Group. Thank you!
